What to watch this weekend… Watch the latest Hindi movie to stream on Netflix – Kathal, you will not be disappointed. A local politician reports missing jackfruits, and his prized possessions, and a young police officer, essayed by Sanya Malhotra, is put in charge of finding the missing kathals. The Yashowardhan Mishra directorial dishes out some hard truths laced with wry humour that makes you think and laugh at the same time.
There is nothing much story-wise, but the script keeps you invested in the goings and the pace of the movie is just apt for a weekend family viewing. The actors shine in their roles with ever-dependent Rajpal Yadav, Ragubhir Yadav and Vijay Raz doling out fine performances. Only thing we found odd is the bald head of Rajpal Yadav… The make-up looked odd… That’s just nitpicking…

Sanya Malhotra is a delight to watch in the police uniform makes you wonder why she is not getting roles in more mainstream commercials. But then this is good, more quirky movies like Pagglait, which are fun to watch than those mindless action fests.
