The final season of the funny and endearing Emmy-winning comedy-drama The Marvelous Mrs Maisel has dropped on Amazon Prime and boy like the lead character says, “Tits Up”, this is one hell of a roller coaster final ride worth bingeing. Unfortunately, only 5 episodes are out yet and every Friday they will drop an episode each.
Amy Sherman-Palladino’s comedy-drama had a little dip here and there along the way but it never stopped bringing a smile to our faces and root for Mrs Maisel played superbly by Rachel Brosnahan.
In an effort to bring closure to the whole life of Mrs Maisel and her family the show cleverly flash-forward scenes in every episode to show us where they reached and get back to their current life to show how they ended up there.
Her agent Susie played effortlessly by Alex Borstein gets Midge a job in a joke-writing room for a primetime chat show. Brosnahan and Borstein have done wonders with their characters, effortlessly zingy dialogue and smart gags delivered at breakneck pace.
Is this the best season, hmmm tough to judge but the episodes dropped till now make you invested and wait for Friday. Early in the flash forward we know she has become a big star and split with Susie, but how… need to wait and find out.

So some might prefer waiting for the final episode to drop and binge-watch the whole show as we are used to in the current OTT world… or wait patiently for Fridays to savour one episode a week. Either way, it’s worth it… Goodbye Mrs. Maisel… you have been wonderful company through the 5 seasons.
